Depression, anxiety and other mood issues are treated with compassionate listening and feedback on changes you might make to help you feel better. We are extensively licensed, trained and skilled in interventional techniques used to achieve best results.
Professional counseling has no resemblance to “talking to a friend or pastor.” We are extensively licensed, trained and skilled in interventional techniques used to achieve best results. At the first session, we gather history and ask questions designed to evaluate and plan treatment. At the second session, we present a Plan of Care using the goals for your recovery that you expressed. We will periodically check in with you on how satisfied you are with your progress and adjust as needed.
Homework. We give you immediate homework at the very first session with suggestions based on your unique situation. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and other modalities are used.
Divorce recovery and divorce co-parenting are areas in which we are widely experienced, having worked in this field as teachers, therapists and group leaders. No one tells you how to navigate the post-divorce life and relationships; divorce doesn’t come with directions! We have the knowledge and tools to help guide you in this new life.
Abuse Recovery is treated with compassionate listening and support, as we help you regain your sense of worth and personal rights. We are sensitive to the balance between hearing your story and also challenging you to rise above it. With this rise in self- esteem comes assertiveness and confidence to choose healthy people in your future relationships.
