I have a wide variety of professional experience with children, teens and adults, in both short and long-term therapy, dealing with a broad spectrum of problems. I provide counseling to individuals, couples, groups, and families regarding anxiety, anger, depression, grief, stress, serious illness and crisis management. Additional topics include marital and parent-child interactions, abusive relationships, alternative lifestyles, and school concerns including academic, behavioral, and social issues.
I offer both day and evening appointments, one-time consultation, and therapy intensives, which are longer appointment times for those in crisis or motivated to resolve their issues more quickly.

Before becoming a therapist, I taught in the public schools. This experience has given me a passion for working with adolescents to provide healthy coping skills as well as a healthy relationship with their parents. I also enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families to provide practical tools to help with communication and dealing with conflict. I also have experience in child and adolescent therapy . Other interests include depression, anxiety, sexual abuse recovery, trauma, self-harm, grief, codependency issues, substance abuse, and marital and family conflict resolution.
